Camp USA Rental Terms for travel between 01-May-2009 and 31-Dec-2012
Important Information About Your Rentals
On arrival you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the operators of Camp USA. Here is a summary of their terms and conditions:
Definitions
The following definitions apply for the Terms and Conditions for Camp USA.
* The Supplier means the operator of Camp USA
* The Client is also referred to as the hirer (s) or renter (s)
Payment terms
* Initial deposit payable upon confirmation. Accepted credit cards are Visa and MasterCard (1.75% transaction fee applies).
* Balance due upon arrival (unless a foreign currency booking)
* The supplier does not accept American Express
* An additional Security Deposit must also be paid upon booking confirmation to supplier directly to secure an advance reservation($2,000.00 deposit is required for Class A diesels, $1,500 for all gas engine coaches and $750.00 for Travel Trailers)The Security Deposit is fully refundable at the end of the rental period less any damage, loss of equipment, cleaning, refueling, extra days and extra mileage fees.
PLEASE NOTE: that for all bookings processed in an alternative currency that the FULL balance will be collected 30 days prior to pick up date.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be in writing, and are effective upon receipt by Camp USA.
The initial deposit paid is non-refundable. In addition to forfeiting your deposit, the following charges also apply:
If notice is received prior to 63 days of the rental date or renter may reschedule dates, No charge.
If notice is received between 62 and 33 days prior to the rental date, Renter will be charged 65% of the full rental price as a cancellation fee.
If notice is received between 32 and 13 days prior to the rental date, Renter will be charged 75% of the full rental price as a cancellation fee.
ALL CANCELLATIONS RECEIVED LESS THAN 10 DAYS PRIOR TO THE RENTAL DATE WILL NOT BE ENTITLED TO ANY REFUND AND WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL
RENTAL FEE. Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather or personal emergencies. We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance covering trip cancellations.
1. Security/Reservation Deposit –Each rental requires a Security Deposit. The Security deposit must be paid upon booking confirmation to the supplier directly. The Security Deposit is fully refundable at the end of the rental period less any damage, loss of equipment, cleaning, refueling, extra days and extra mileage fees. To avoid any additional charges, the motor home must be returned in the same condition as received. Refunds are processed 7-10 business days following rental return. To secure an advance reservation a $2,000.00 deposit is required for Class A diesels, $1,500 for all gas engine coaches and $750.00 for Travel Trailers. THIS DEPOSIT IS ONLY REFUNDABLE PERSUANT TO THE CANCELLATION POLICY SET FORTH BELOW.
PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT ACCEPT DEBIT CARDS FOR THE SECURITY DEPOSIT.
2. Requirements – All renters and all authorized drivers must be 25 years of age and posses a current valid drivers license. Child car seats are required by law for each child under 4 years old. See options below.
3. Payment - Full payment is due upon delivery and prior to departure. Accepted forms of payment: cash, bank wire, and credit or debit cards, CAMP USA DOES NOT ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS.
Payment by personal check must be made at least 39 days prior to departure.
4. Check Out - Motor home check out times are by appointment only. Special weekend and holiday times must be pre-arranged. Please allow 45 minutes for check out at time of pick up.
Please note: Every time a customer wants a delivery/pick up on a Sunday or after hours on Saturday ,there's a $100 extra fee. (exceptional cases, please check with Camp USA to see if a certain day /time is possible for delivery/pick up.
Also, it is important to send us delivery/ pick up address.
5. Sanitation Fee – Each rental will be charged a non-refundable Sanitation Fee of $30.00.
6. Mileage – 150 free miles per day. Additional mileage is charged at 35 cents per mile, mileage rate varies depending on unit. Please indicate approximately many miles you intend to travel and your final destination, in the Additional Comments field, when you place your booking.
7. Housekeeping Kits - Are available for a fee ($50 per person) and may be requested when making a reservation. These kits include bed linens, towels & washcloths, pillows, blankets, eating and cooking utensils, dishware, cups and glasses, toaster, coffee maker.
8. Pet Policy – Pets are only permitted with written authorization in certain coaches and renter will be charged a prepaid cleaning fee and a prepaid carpet cleaning fee. - WE ARE PET FRIENDLY, PET FEE IS $200 C CLASS UNITS, $250 A CLASS GAS UNITS, AND $350 FOR ANY DIESEL UNITS.
(Class A 35' 0850 - NO PETS)
9. Awning – Damages to awnings are not included by insurance unless a collision occurs. Be aware of rain and/or windy conditions. Take proper care of the awning and roll it up when you leave the coach or retire for the evening. Many damages occur when the awnings are not supervised.
10. Smoking – SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN ANY COACH.
11. Violation of Policies – Renter agrees that, if there is evidence of an unauthorized pet and/or smoking in coach, Camp USA will be entitled to liquidate damages in the amount of $1,000.00. This is not a penalty but is intended to cover damages for intensive cleaning and time without rental revenue, which is difficult to calculate with certainty.
12. Insurance –Florida renters can provide an insurance binder naming Camp USA as an additional insured, or
purchase our Renters Liability Coverage cost of $ 30 -$ 55 per day. All out of state and International Renters MUST purchase our Renters Liability Coverage with a deductible of $1,500.00. Renter is fully liable for any damage caused by negligence, misuse or carelessness (including but not limited to roof damage, under-carriage and tire damage). If an insurance binder from your insurance company is NOT received before departure, you will automatically be charged for the Renters Liability Coverage.
Please note: The insurance charge is always one day more than the number of rental Nights because all rates are calculated on a nightly basis (like a hotel) but the provider of this insurance cover calculates Insurance by calendar day. So an extra day is added by way of an additional one off charge to cover this variation imposed by the Insurance provider.
13. Standard Equipment – All of our units are equipped with air conditioning and awnings. Generally, motor home equipment also includes television, stored fresh water, flush toilets, waste/gray water holding tanks, cabinets/closets, hot water heater, range/oven, shower, furnace, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, am/fm radio, auxiliary generator, dining/sleeping accommodations and power steering. Renters are not charged for these items even though they are considered conveniences. If malfunctions of these items should occur they are not considered breakdowns and no compensation will be made.
14. Accident/Incident Report - CAMP USA requires documentation of circumstances involving an accident or incident. If anything occurs on private property call the police and make a report. If they do not respond make a report yourself and also document that the police have been called, but did not respond. Your rental binder will have a driver’s accident report, please use this form even if an incident occurs. In the event of an accident/incident, and the renter does not fill out this form, he/she is subject to the insurance company not covering the claim and the renter then waives insurance coverage and will be responsible for the claim themselves. You signature below will confirm these requirements and terms.
15. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that renters ensure they take out the highest level of Travel Insurance.
16. Delivery and drop fees
(FUEL AND TOLLS ARE ADDITIONAL)
Please note that the supplier does not have a physical depot in these locations. Instead you will be met at a pre arranged meeting point in this location by a company representative with your vehicle for the collection and drop off/handover of your vehicle at the end of your rental. This fee is per direction:

No Hotel Deliveries in Miami (North or South)

On very rare occasions, a rate may be displayed incorrectly due to our, or a vehicle supplier's error. In such a case, if you book with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. We make every effort to keep information on our site up to date, but we cannot guarantee this website is free of errors or omissions and retain the right to update or change the information published at any time.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law we/the owners of this website will not be liable to you or to any third party (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to any accident, injury, delay or loss of enjoyment) arising out of your reliance upon information contained on this website, including but not limited to your use (or inability to use) any products or services described or procured through this website.
When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier’s rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.
While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.
Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a 1.75% credit card charge will be added when your payment is processed.
A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.
If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.
Information disclosure
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.
Amendments
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:
Motorhome rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 75.00
To add or remove extras to/from confirmed booking: 20.00
The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.
Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
Refund Policy
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.

No Delivery to Miami Airport – Customer must shuttle/taxi to Pompano Beach Office
We do not deliver to the Miami airport of any Miami hotels, the customer must shuttle to our office. If someone would like a home delivery to Miami the charge is $175 plus fuel/tolls for delivery and the same for pick up.
